Middle School Production

As I walked through the Manurewa central school auditorium I heard people playing their violins. They were playing a lovely song. The middle school were  doing a production because they were celebrating the Diversity of our culture. One of my favourite dances was black or white. My other favourite thing was Rakau.

Black or white is a type of dance. First the black or white people lined up. Next the music came on. The music was by Michael Jackson. When I looked at the dancers they were doing a lot of movements. When I looked at Noah he was doing his best to make his parents proud. He was moving a lot and mostly he is trying to make his parents proud of him. Once they have finished we all clapped. I was very amazed at their dance moves.

Rakau is where you get 2 wooden sticks and you bang them together to make music. First all the Rakau people grabbed 2 Rakau sticks. Next they all sat down on the floor. Then someone called out “Hope Rakau”. Then the music came on. When they finished we all clapped again.

I think you should come next year because this show was absolutely amazing!

Middle School Production

On the 2nd of December I went to Manurewa Central School. The minute I walked in the auditorium I heard Manurewa Central's orchestra playing their violins, viola, and the bass. The music sounded really lovely. One of my favourite dances was the black or white. The assembly was about diversity. It was about diversity because it was to show our parents all of our cultures.

When Masin said “Black and white” the black and white dancers stood up at the same time. They were standing very beautifully. They stood up so beautifully it looked like they were meeting the queen. The music went on and they started their the dance by pretending to play the guitar. The costume they were wearing was black pants and white t-shirts. Their moves were going up and down which made the dance look amazing. I was surprised that they kept in their lines and were doing the moves at the same time. I wished that I was doing it with them.

My 2nd favourite was the ukulele. Masin said, “Fiji” and the ukulele people stood up at the same time. They went down the stairs and got ukuleles. Masin said, “Toru, wha”. After that the ukulele people played their ukulele in the auditorium. They sounded beautiful.

I recommend that you should come along next year. The performance was absolutely amazing.

Middle School Production

On Friday the Middle School had their final assembly.

When I walked through the Manurewa Central auditorium, I heard people playing lovely songs on the violin and viola. The assembly was about diversity because it is one of our school values.

Mason called out, “Black or white.” The black or white dancers stood up. My favorite part was when they did Black and White by Michael Jackson. I liked it because they put heaps of energy into the black and white dance. My favorite part of the dance was when they were punching the air.

The second one that I liked was the Rakau. I was amazed because they could throw it to each other without dropping the Rakau sticks. They performed to a song called E Papa.

I hope next year all the parents to come and watch their kids do their talents.

Middle School Production

Last week the Middle school did their end of year production at the assembly for their parents to show their parents about one of their school values, diversity.

I thought that the Indian dance was the best because their dresses were so pretty.The dresses were sparkling and glittering when the light showed on them. The dance  was about brothers and sisters.The music was a bit fast but soft. I loved their dance.

I also loved the black and white dance because the song was sang Michael Jackson.I like the way theydid it without  mistakes and stopping. The song was little bit fast.The actions were up,down,round and round. It was a lovely dance. I enjoyed the dance.

I enjoy both of the dances. If you weren’t there you  missed the great dances. Please come next year.

Middle School Production

on  Friday the Middle school was doing a production about diversity. The parents went to look at the school production. They were doing the ukulele. The song was called Isa Lei. It was so,so,so,cool. I felt that

Isa Lei was the best of all of the other performances. But the others was still good but the ukulele was the best. The light is like a rainbow. It was too bright.

The black and white dance is good too. Wow their dance is so cool too. The dance was amazing but it was a  little bit longer but it still awesome. I heard lots of  song. It is by  Michael Jackson. First they did put the hand down up and do the guitar. It was like a ukulele too. I think black and white is the best too.

Middle School Production

On Friday the whole Middle school came to the Manurewa Central auditorium for parents to see the amazing performances.

I really liked the black or white dance.

It was so cool. The black or white dance was made by Michael Jackson, the king of pop. The music was relaxing. The costumes were black jeans for the boys white t-shirts for the boys as well. The girls were wearing black tights and white t-shirts. One of the girls shouted out “1, 2, 3, 4.” They put their hands down and they nodded  their heads, when there hands went down. I liked the guitar move. I  think I could show all my photographer friends.

I recommend everyone should come to the amazing end of the year performances.

Middle School Production

Last Friday the whole Middle school did their end of year performance in the Manurewa central school auditorium.

The performance was about diversity. There were speakers, Nga Waka, Rakau, Samoan song\ speech, Ukulele-Isa Lei, Cook Island dancing, Chinese lantern dance, Indian dance- Raksha Bandhan day song, Edelweiss, Arabic number song and the children say that… the best show of all is  … Black or white dance.

My favorite was the ukulele because the sound of the music was gorgeous and it's very calm. Not like a guitar.

But some people do two or three like this boy called Mason. He is in ukulele and he says when the flag people can go down the steps and that group has to go behind the girl\boy.

Oh I forgot to tell you. The Ukulele song was a Fijian song.

My other favourite was the chinese lantern dance  because the lanterns were glowing in the dark and all the colors together look really pretty. When you look at the roof you can see some colored dots it was cool. But I have no idea how the teacher came up with this idea? I think that the teacher thought of this because he\she is a Chinese person.

The colors of the lanterns were… red, orange, dark blue and lite blue and the chineses lantern dance was beautiful.

Please, please, come to the performance next year please.

The Legendary Skateboard Master

One day Livi said, “I'll take my dog on a skateboard ride. Oh no it's a bacon zombie cat. He wants to eat our brain. Scram bacon zombie cat. Oh  no he is angus. Run dog! Ahhhhhh! I'm  going to crash into a fence ahhhhhhh.”  

The man said “Who is this person?  I need to call 111.”The  ambulance came Weho weho.  The doctor said, “Take him to the hospital. He's really injured.” Suddenly Livi woke up. He said, “What happened? Where am I?”  

“Sir you had a crash. We have put a lot of medical stuff on you. We have put plasters every place there was a fall. You will need to stay for one night.  Okay here is your onesie.”

“Thanks doctor.”

The Skateboard Mystery

Ouch! With a broken leg, arm and another arm, also another leg. What was going on yesterday? But I forgot why I am at hospital.

Surprisingly Zac was thinking and thinking. “Yay” said Zac. I finally thought what I was doing. I was skating down the skateboard park. I was holding the rope with the dog. The dog's name was Chris. Chris’s fur was black and white like the black and white song or dance.

Zac was thinking but there was a cat. It was a girl. It was pink and white. Chris saw this cat but her name was Alyass. She was the pretty cat of her family. Chris was feeling hungry like a passenger sitting in a car not driving, just looking at the window. He tried to to run but Zack was skating while the dog was running but nobody was staring at them. Then Chris got more closer to Alyass but Alyass ran home. In Alyass home she had lots of people. At her home she has friend and parents.

Chris bumped on gate and even Zack bumped his head because Alyass closed the gate which was black like a black hat.

“So that was the problem,” said Zack. But now I need to to know how my skateboard broke. First I bumped into a black gate. Surprisingly Zack fell off the skateboard. Also the skateboard fell in the pond which was full of baby birds and parent birds the colour of the yellow like the sun.

Zack picked it up out of  the pond where the birds were using their beak to break the skateboard. The colour of the skateboard was dark blue also green.

The Inventor

One day an inventor worked on his latest invention, a robot slave. The inventor was old so he had an assistant. But the invention went bad. It killed things in its way.

The robot had weapons. The inventor died. The assistant used some inventions. The robot made an army. All the citizens were in dark days. But in the fight there was a boom. The citizens came with weapons and guns. “Get out of the town! Destroy the robots!” What is the assistant going to do now?

The legacy of the inventor 5 years later. The assistant was worldwide famous.  He was a 1000air. He had an interview with John Key. In the interview John Key said to the inventor, “I’m going to give  a promotion to you. Can you make weapons for the army?”

The invention tried to save as many soldiers as he could. He tried to make some robot soldiers. It took weeks to finish. The robot soldiers did army work and saved citizens and did some community work for kids who have cancer.

The Runaway Nice Robot

Once upon a time a kid got bullied at school so he made a robot to help him at school to make the people not be mean at school again. He called it robot 9000. He made it do the lawn. He had a rest. After he woke up he didn’t see the robot. After 9 hours it was completely gone for good.

But something happened to the robot. It turned into a nice robot because it fell in a lake. It can fly. There was a reward to find the robot 9000. He went to a dark place in my city. He went to find the robot to get the reward. He wanted the money so he can buy a house and he can buy stuff for the house.

After 22 weeks he found the robot so he didn't get the money because we put the reward up. But my dad made it a slave. He tried to break him but he is made of metal. After he had to go in a canyon. When he fell he got chased in the canyon after he blowed up.

The Runaway Robot

One day boy named Max was tired of cutting the

grass. So he built a robot that cut the grass for him. When Max fell asleep his robot was gone. In town he could hear people screaming in the town. The robot that Max built was cutting grass everywhere in town even in people's backyards. It was cutting people’s hair as well. Because he lost his robot he had to cut the grass himself. After all that hard work building as well.

The Missing Robot

One day a boy name Jack was tired of cutting the grass. Then the boy had a idea. He can build a robot.   All night Jack made his robot. Finally he  was done making  his robot. He turned his robot on and the robot start cutting the grass.

Then Jack went to sleep and after the sleep Jack got  up and saw the robot was gone.Then people start shouting. Jack went and saw  the robot’s poster on the wall. It said, “The robot will be yours if you call on 000800.” The robot is $4,000.

Jack was scared and he ran back home and asked his dad for the money. Dad said, “Sure because you cut the grass.” Jack  ran as fast as he could. When he got there the robot was not there so he went back home.

Jack was sad he lost the robot. From now Jack cut the grass himself. But one day Jack was cutting the grass just then Jack hear a noise. Jack turned and saw the robot coming back. From that day Jack and the robot cut the grass.

RUNAWAY ROBOT

One day a little boy named Johnny had to mow the lawns. Every weekend he had to mow the lawns if he wanted pocket money. But he was getting tired of doing it because it was getting too long. He thought to himself “What if I make a robot?”

That night he got every thing to use that was old or what his dad and him didn't use anymore. He started putting everything together then he grinded it so it was sharp.

The next morning he woke up and tried it. It worked. He gave him a name.  The name was Jackson. Next the got a chair and a drink and laid down and suddenly he fell asleep.

Soon he woke up. He heard a crowd yelling so he ran up to his house put a jumper on and some shoes and socks and went through the crowd. He was looking for his new robot that he just invented so he really wanted to find it.

After that he found little bolts from the robot. Finally he found the robot. After that he started crying because it was all broken. Soon an idea popped up in his head. What if I upgrade it so the whole thing was made of metal and steel?

So he found some more old stuff and put all of that together but this time he didn't grind it. If anyone tried to break it, they couldn't because it is sharp. It will cut them because it is made out of tin.

Finally he went to sleep and woke up early in the morning. He ran to put some socks, shoes and jacket on and rush to his garage to get it. He put it in the wheeled cart and pushed it to where the grass needed mowing. He pushed the on button and it worked again. Soon he pushed the mowing button and let it rip. This time it didn't get stolen.

When the lawns were done he went to his dad and told him that he had finished mowing the lawns. His dad said, “Good on you son.” Johnny replied but dad, don't I get pocket money?”.

His dad said “Oh yeah, that's right. I'll give you $50.” “Thanks dad.” So Johnny went and spent it on upgrades for his robot then made it even better.

The Helpful Robot

Once upon a time there was a girl called Rosie. One day she thought that she wanted to make a robot because she knew that in China it is hard to get medicine and there is not as many schools too.

The robot is made to… make a medicine for the different kinds of sicknesses and the other job is to teach the Chinese kids how to write and say words. Oh and I forgot to tell you that the robot can talk different languages like Chinese, Russian, Thai And all sorts. But the best thing is that the robot can do is to... help hospitals make the medicine.

So she made the robot but in 2 years she finished and she tested it out “my robot, it works” said rosie. She was very, very, very, very, very, very happy.

The next morning she was ready “This is the day,” said Rosie. But then she thought how is she going to take this robot to China???

In 1 month she finished her plan to go to China!!! She whispered, “Oky here’s the plan. Step 1 the plan is that I have to save up money to go on a train to go to China. Step 2 next I have to make lots and lots of sandwiches. Step 3 bring the robot with me.”

“Oky guys” said Rosie, “Let’s do it!” said Rosies friends. “Oh I forgot to tell you these are my friends Crystal and Swirl. They are my BFF’s and nothing can break us apart” said Rosie.

But the money that they had made was only 20 dollars and the ticket was for 100 dollars. They did math to figure it out. hey thought 20+___=100 and they thought and thought and thought and they got it, 20+80=100 so they only need 80 more dollars.

But they only get 1 dollar when they do something helpful to do for anyone like mow the lawns, looking after the pets and all sorts of stuff. “But it was harder than I thought it will be” said Rosie, Crystal and Swirl.

No one really wanted them to do those things because there are people doing these things all ready and they looked all over the neighborhood and at last they found just three houses that Rosie, Crystal and Swirl can do each.

But there were old ladies that needed a young person to cut the lawn and do lots of stuff and their reward was $999,987,986.

Finally they finished doing all that stuff and they got the $999,987,986 each. After all that work they were so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so,  so, so, so tired.

The next morning Rosie, Crystal and Swirl were ready to go to China. When they got to china they were so excited to explore the country. But they just realised  that they can’t talk chinese.hey we're stuck in China.

Luckily, a really nice lady knew that they were from New Zealand. She said, “Hi do you need some help and are you lost?” “ We are okay we just don’t know how to speak Chinese” said Rosie. “ I can teach you,” said the lady. “ You can!” said Rosie, Crystal and Swirl. (Hugging the lady). “ Thank you so much for doing this for us” said everyone.

In 4 years they could speak Chinese and English but their robot was fine . They realised the robot was having to look for some kids to teach. But then this man wacked the robot with a broom because the man thought the robot was a huge fly. Then the robot was broken. “My robot it’s broken” said Rosie. (She said in chinese). She was very,very sad. “What do I do? I know my robot is broken and we can’t fix it.” said Rosie.

The lady said “You can teach the kids how to speak and write” but Rosie said “ No I can’t.” “But yes you can.” said the lady.

In 15 months she did it and she became famous for teaching the children. After that she got a message from the king of China. It said please come to the prison and that's it. So she went to the prison. When she got there she was thrown in the prison. But she didn’t know why???

The prisoners were fighting and one of the prisoners were holding an axe!!! She was really scared. She wished that she wasn't in there but she is so she tried to calm down. She was brave and she talked to the prisoners. She shouted, “STOP!!!!!!!!!” as loud as she could and the prisoners stop fighting. She told them to sit down. When they sat down she told them bible story about god.

After she finished telling the bible story the person opened the door. The man said, “What happened in there?” Rosie said, “I’m fine.” The man was worried that she wasn’t but Rosie had a message to him too.

She said “You need to make the prisoners do some work like make them do knitting and make some clothes and sell them then they get money so they can buy their own food so they won’t fight”.

When the prisoners did it they didn’t have a problem. The next morning they were surrounded in guards!!!! She didn’t know why??? Oh I forgot to tell you. She adopted 20 children from people who don’t care about children. So let’s see I was up to oh here it is. So they sneaked behind the back door crawling and they were really quiet.  

Great skate board mystery

I  woke up in the hospital and all I could remember about was that I climbed up a hill with my dog then he was chasing a bacon rat cat.

The bacon rat cat had jumped over a pit of lava then ran over a thin bridge. When my dog chased it across the bridge it broke. I fell down, down, down and down.

I was falling so fast I went back into the dino ages where I found a mysterious person. He had a very sharp spear in his hand.

“Hi there, umm who are you?” I said. “What are you doing in my territory? Now get in my cage or you die!” the stranger said.

I went into the cage and I realised it was bamboo. I broke out and got a piece of bamboo. Next we were stick fighting. Suddenly a t-rex came and shot out of the trees with some baby t-rexes. A Pterodactyl came flying by then grabbed me. It threw me into its nest that had four baby Pterodactyls.

“Ahhhhhhh” I screamed. I thought of something... Ah that's it. There was a vine hanging down so I could use it to fly the Pterodactyl. I was all freaked out but my plan worked. I hopped on the pterodactyl and put the vine in its mouth.

“Its working, woohoo!” I was enjoying the ride but there was a carnivorous brontosaurus in my way. I jumped off the pterodactyl and landed in a tree or should I say on the top of a raptor temple.I stayed calm and didn’t move.  But then A raptor came out then saw me. It jumped at me knocked me off then I fell into a carnivore brontosauruses mouth then teleported back to time then I had the incident.

So that's what happened or was it? I woke up for good. I came out “eww” I came out the other end. I ran away then fell into lava teleported into 2056. I was in the future. There were flying vehicles and everything. There was also my own house Everything I had was still there “Sweet my own floating xbox.” Then I got hit by a flying turtle so that's how I got injured.

The escape of the runaway robot

Once upon a time there was a boy named Timmy. He had a job that he hated doing. One day he decided to make a robot to do his lawns for him. Slowly he built a robot but he thought it was easy but it wasn't. He spend hours and hours.  He couldn’t sleep because he wanted to finish it by the next day. He didn’t even want to sleep for ten minutes. “At last,” he said. “My greatest invention, the robot 2000. It can mow lawns. Just what I needed.”

Excitedly he tried it out and it worked. When his parents told him  to mow the lawns he could quickly get his robot 2000. The next day his parents told him to mow the lawns, but the boy complained, “I haven’t even had breakfast!”

Immediately he got his robot 2000. After he got his robot he started the engine. Off it went. Timmy was amazed. It was mowing the lawns like a racing car! Next he was very tired so he went to sleep.

After 1 hour the robot 2000 was completely gone. It wasn’t even in the house. It had disappeared! The next morning he was watching the news. Suddenly the news reporter said, “We have just spotted a robot. It is heading for the Antarctica. If this robot is yours please call 146842.”

“Oh no, my poor robot.” said Timmy!  Timmy decided to go to the Antarctica but he had to be quick because they might break it and then I won’t be able to mow the lawns quick.

That’s what he did. He paid $10000 dollars just to get to the Antarctica to find his robot 2000. As he went passed the ocean he saw killer whales and sperm whales.

Finally after 2 or 3 weeks Timmy arrived at the Antarctica. He searched the whole place but it wasn’t there. Next he tried looking in the water. he searched in the water. Finally he found his robot 2000 but it was broken.  He said “I spent hours and hours doing this now it is all broken.”

After that he had a idea so he went back home.  He took the robot and off he went. After Timmy arrived back at home he had some food. He took all the stuff that he used to build his robot 2000.Then he took everything apart. Suddenly he put all the parts on the normal lawn mower.

Now he invented his second new invention, the super lawn mower 3000. Now it can mow the lawn 10 minutes faster. It can follow you around and shoot marshmallows in your mouth whenever you are hungry.  From now on he is going use his super lawn mower 3000.  When his parents tell him to mow the lawns he will get his super lawn mower 3000. THE END

Crocodile Which loved cake

Once upon a time there lived a girl called Blossom. One day she thought of making a crocodile with a dragon tail, mouse ears, whiskers, butterfly wings and pink spikes.

One day she was laying around. When she woke up she found that her crocodile was nowhere to be found. “Where has the crocodile gone?”

Suddenly she heard something familiar. It was her dad and the crocodile was not a crocodile anymore it was a dog. But it still loved cake. Once a day Blossom’s dad fed it cake. Everyday dad loved it and  took her to science school.

She made medicine and potions for people from all over the world even China. They all had a very happy ending. But one day her mum died from a brain surgery. She had a black surgery ignition.  She always got angry about little things and killed them. The next minute she fainted but this time she didn’t faint, she died.

A Robot Invention

Ben and his dad had no money. One day his dad said, “Go out and mow the lawn.” An  idea popped into Ben’s head. He might make a robot that can cut the grass.

Ben was relaxing. He forgot about the robot. When Ben woke up he thought “Where has my robot had gone?” He thought it was lost.

Finally a stranger found it. She took it to her house. It started to cut the stranger’s grass. All of a sudden the robot disappeared. The stranger called the police. The police went to Ben’s house.

Ben told the truth about what happened. Ben called his dad and his dad came quickly. His dad wasn't happy.

Then the police gave Ben’s dad money. Surprisingly his dad bought a mower. He and his dad were rich.  

The Happy Motor Robot

Once upon a time there was a girl named Maya  who had no money. Her  skin colour was brown. Her Mum and Dad said, “If you mow the lawn you will get money”. But Maya didn't want to mow the lawn so she thought she might  invent  a robot. She got sharp scissors, a red real dangerous laser, and old cool guitar strings that were broken.

She stayed up all night. Maya worked hard building her robot but she need help from her friend Raycheal. They stayed up all night. Maya said, “It's alive poow! Oh never mind”.

When it was morning the girls went outside  a red cabinet with the robot. They were  contented.

After that they took the blanket off. Then it worked. Next they played inside all day. After that Maya and Raycheal said, “Where has robot going to. “

Surprisingly it was nowhere to be found. So they searched for it the whole time. Suddenly it was going to fall down a pointy hill. He stepped one closer. Next he fell down really hard into the ground.  Boom! He crashed down on the hard ground. Suddenly they felt sorry for him then Maya and Raycheal never made a robot again.
